A view from the moon...

Optimus Prime stood on the grey surface. He arrived to the moon. Earth's moon. He looked forward. There was nothing surrounding him. In front of him he could see only darkness and emptiness, rarely filled with light spots, coming from stars and planets, much far away than from Earth to its moon.

"Somewhere out there... is our planet Cybertron", he thought. They came to this world from one of the planets in front of him. Such a big distance, yet his own thoughts and consciousness was traveling, almost racing, to his own world. He wanted to go back there, to Cybertron, and make it a better place for his race.

His day dreaming was brutally stopped by sensors, which alarmed him about the temperature in space. "It's so cold in outer space... I forgot about that...", he thought, "... and ... it's so empty. The feeling of loneliness is overwhelming over here.". Even if he wasn't alone on the moon, he felt uneasy. He felt... the fear. Fear that he failed, and he may fail even more. He arrived here because he had a reason. He had mission to accomplish. A mission in which the fate of the Earth depends on.

He walked forward, but after few steps he stopped. He couldn't move. Was he paralyzed by fear? No. Optimus Prime can fight with fear, that's why he is the bravest of all Autobots. Instead, he felt that he need to look behind him. His intuition was telling him that behind him, there is something very important, something he will never forget. He slowly turned around. His optics met only black cosmos. But then... he saw it.

He saw the Earth...

"It's the first time I saw Earth like this", he thought. He could see it clearly now, without any interruptions, emergency or threats. "It's...". No words could describe how beautiful, bizarre, and colorful, was Earth Optimus Prime saw. For Autobots, at first it was a strange, unknown planet, but soon they discovered it's true beauty. They were amazed by it's difference. But they were on Earth surface, so they saw only a small part of it. On the moon, Optimus Prime finally saw all Earth.

He finally realized how much fate of this world depends on him. From this point of view, he could see how many sentient beings is at risk of extinction. But this planet looked so calm... It looked like nothing terrible is going to happen. "From here, it look so peaceful... On this planet, a miracle occurred - a new life was born. I can't allow to destroy all of it. I have to fight, and I have to win. There is no other way...".

He knew what he had to do... And how far he could get to make this happen...
